Who are we?

We are an NGO founded in 1993. Our principal activities are related with organizing International workcamps, coordinating mid- and long-term voluntary projects in Poland and sending Polish young people to participate in analogous projects abroad.

What do we offer?

In collaboration with the European Solidarity Corps, we are giving young people from around the continent an opportunity to discover Poland through volunteering in one of our long-term projects in the region of Mazovia.

Who are we looking for?

Even though each project has its specificities, we are searching for volunteers between 18 and 30 years old, with good communication skills in English, a friendly attitude and the will to go deep in Polish culture.

Why should you choose us?

During the last 30 years we have hosted more than 200 volunteers, people from around the continent and abroad that use their time in Poland to make new friends, learn a new language and discover more about themselves while leaving their comfort zone.
What are the conditions?

The volunteers are supposed to work between 30 and 38 hours per week (from Monday to Friday) and are entitled to 2 days-off per month, apart from weekends and public holidays.

Accommodation will be provided by the European Solidarity Corps as well as a regular food allowance of 150 euros per month and 180 euros of pocket money for personal expenses.

The cost of the travel to Poland will be covered.  The total budget will depend on the distance and the transport method that the volunteer will use to reach Poland.

What support will you receive during your volunteering project?

Apart from receiving an online course of Polish language, each volunteer will participate in two obligatory 5-days-long trainings organized by the National Agency: the on-arrival training during the first months in Poland, and the mid-term training in the second half of the project.

SPW will also be responsible for other trainings and evaluation meetings that will take place every two months, where the volunteers will discuss topics related to intercultural education and non-formal learning.

Are you ready for volunteering?

yes!
